October 2009

For trunk-or-treating, we had Mary and an uncooperative little lamb.

For trick-or-treating, L chose to change and be Cinderella instead. So . . . we changed M as well into a musketeer. Here she is, thinking of her candy and listening to Christmas music.
How do you get picky kids to eat? Turn the sandwich into a snake!!
Painting the pumpkins red, we're painting the pumpkins red! (And yellow and blue . . . put them all together and you get a blah color.)
Our good friends joined us for our decorating party.
Okay . . . get this. M climbed up the laundry basket, onto the piano bench, and started playing. He's just barely walking! WOW!

Here are the masks we made! L had a lot of fun blopping glue onto hers, and asked Mommy to help smooth it out. She loves the little squiggly eyeballs, too!

L's new thing is to have french braids one day, then curly hair the next. She's so cute!

Daddy brings a new instrument home every week for his class. The family loved the tuba the best!

Our beautiful home in the fall!

Family Pictures 2009

We're having our whole family picture edited a bit, so you'll have to wait for that one.
We have such a wonderful family!

When Jesus has a Drum

Somehow, Liahona got the words mixed up to Les Mis's "Do You Hear the People Sing." She thinks it's a song about Jesus coming again and bringing drums. Don't ask . . . it's just cute. :-)
We saw Musical Theater of Idaho's production of Les Mis a couple of months ago, and she LOVED it. At least she's singing THIS song instead of "Lovely Ladies!"

September Sillies

Someone wants to be just like Mommy! No, Mommy doesn't dress up like Clifford. That's just L. :-)
Here's M's little munchkin birthday party with a boy and girl that are close in age. They ate cupcakes, starting on this picnic blanket, ending up everywhere else. The other boy took his cupcake and smashed it into M's head. It was HILARIOUS (more like a wedding party than a birthday party)!! Our camera stopped working, so our friends had to take those funny pictures on their cell phones (pictures that we don't have yet).
Flying!
Watch out for that drool!

So cute and peaceful in his sleep!

Unto Us a Niece is Born!!

Baby E has joined the family at last! We got to host her brothers and sister while she was coming to this life, and we all had a blast. We took them to the hospital this morning to meet her. She was so tiny I seriously felt like I was carrying a bundle of blankets instead of a baby. (By the way, T made that blanket she's wrapped in. He did SUCH a good job!)

Here's M getting into the books. This must be a sign that he'll either be a great author or a great Either this is a sign that he'll be a great author or he'll be an engineer (with a desk that looks like his Grandpa W's!).
Hmm . . . looks like an engineer.
By the way . . . T got new glasses. M just helped us pick them out.

August 2009

M's cousins are teaching him how to walk. Here he's giving the battle cry as he's going in for the attack!
We had some fun visitors last weekend. L's cousins visited from Colorado. These girls had so much fun doing GIRLY stuff!
And eating.
Daddy and L did a TON of baking to get ready for all of the company. Boy did they have fun!
L went to her first birthday party that she could participate in. She really wanted that cake!

This was the only step in Twister that L was successful at. Fun at Eagle Island with her cousin.

What a handsome boy! We keep finding these Bible Tickets lying around (props from Tom Sawyer, the play we were in months ago. Somehow our kids got the most Bible Tickets for memorizing scripture, even though they can hardly lift the Bible!)
GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!

Lia's getting "poo poo prizes" every time she goes poo poo on the toilet. She now has enough dress up clothes to last for a few Halloweens! In this picture she put on her dress ups and started dancing and singing "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream!"
